CM camping CapFun Treumal - Costa Brava
I didn’t think I could have an experience more intense than my Erasmus year, I was wrong.
For three months, I had the opportunity to work as a Community Manager at Capfun Treumal, in Platja d’Aro, Spain. Three months working in another language, communicating with international clients, creating content and learning how to adapt my way of working to Spanish professional standards.
But beyond the professional experience, it was the people who made these three months so special. I met incredible people, created memories I’ll never forget, and became part of a team that made this place feel like home. I arrived thinking it would simply be a three-month internship. I’m leaving with a full camera roll, countless memories, amazing encounters… and a heart that’s honestly a little broken to leave.
Thank you to the whole Capfun Treumal team for making these three months so unforgettable!

Capfun is a French camping group founded in 1987, now operating more than 268 family-oriented campsites across several European countries through a multi-brand strategy. Its identity is built around the immersive Farfarolle universe, featuring mascots, themed kingdoms, playful activities and distinctive facilities designed especially for families.
Capfun Treumal, located in Platja d’Aro on the Costa Brava, is one of the group’s Spanish campsites, offering direct beach access, accommodation, aquatic areas, sports facilities, daily entertainment and family activities. During my internship there, I worked within a team focused on adapting Capfun’s values and entertainment concept to the specific environment of the campsite.

This internship was the most enriching professional experience of my journey, allowing me to put my skills into practice while gaining real responsibility as a Social Media Manager, Photographer and Videographer in an international environment.
The diversity of my missions, the trust and autonomy I was given, and the opportunity to work directly in Spanish helped me grow in creativity, organisation, adaptability and confidence.
Beyond the professional experience, living alone in Spain pushed me out of my comfort zone, strengthened my independence and confirmed my desire to build my future as a freelance communication professional in Spain.
